ESSENTIAL OILS AND GARDENING

Something that I really admire about Young Living is the way that they grow and treat their plants. Instead of toxic chemicals and pesticides, they use oils to keep their plants well and keep pests away!

I am a gardener myself and I have learned a lot about using oils in the garden! I wanted to share some of the things that I use to help you garden as clean, pure, and healthy as possible!

Special thanks to one our team members, Chantale Fieldhouse, for contributing her knowledge and research!

Prepare the soil

Plants need a healthy, clean soil rich in humus, beneficial organisms, nutrients, and compost, and free from toxins and harmful fungi.

Gary Young, founder of Young Living, has talked a lot about using oils to break down the toxins and pesticides on a plot of land. He did an experiment where he took an area of land that had previously been treated with pesticides and toxic chemicals, he fully sprayed it down three times with a spray that he made, and after those three times all of the evidence of chemicals were completely gone! How amazing is that? All of the Young Living farms use this spray on their land to encourage healthy soil!

Recipe:

In a 32 oz. spray bottle, drop 30 drops of DiGize, and fill the rest with water. Shake and spray on soil!
