How can oils support my mental health?

One of the most fascinating things that I've studied along this journey is how plants were our first medicine. They were put here for us as our food and as our medicine. They are meant to work with our bodies to keep them healthy and break down issues that we may be having!

I want you to think of mental health issues as a symptom, because that's exactly what they are. They're a symptom telling you that something is wrong. Whether that something is a lack of healthy food, too much toxic chemical product usage, or past trauma that was never released. 

Now, with that in mind, let's take a quick look at some

things that oils do:

+ They eliminate toxins in our bodies.

+ They can be found in our blood stream in 20 seconds. 

+ They reach every cell in our body within 20 minutes. 

+ They regenerate our DNA, having the capability to release things, such as trauma, that have been stored in our bodies for years. 

+ They go directly to our limbic system (emotional brain) when inhaled (aromatherapy!)

+ They increase oxygen in the body. 

+ They support healthy blood pressure levels, relax us, and clear our minds making us feel calm, level, and grounded.

This is a subject that I'm personally very passionate about because mental health is why I started using oils! Now that you can see the science of how oils can support your body to good mental health, let's talk about what oils you can use!



Emotions are really interesting in the fact that they are stored in our bodies. Sometimes, feeling better can be as simple as a protocol that is intended to detox certain parts of our bodies!

Below are some of my favorite protocols for if you're not feeling well emotionally and mentally. These protocols are designed to work in your body to release built up toxins in those organs that could be causing your body to 'malfunction,' thus producing symptoms (yes, anger, anxiousness, excessive down feelings, and irritability can be your body telling you that something is wrong!)
